Current wind energy seminars in Berlin
BWE-Seminar „Windenergietechnik für Nichttechniker“
Without a basic understanding of the technical background of wind energy, it is difficult to make competent decisions in the industry. Whether you are a manager or an employee in the industry, you are always required to understand and evaluate projects or provide information – a basic technical understanding is essential.
Hands-on seminar: Understanding Wind Energy Technology by Experimentation
In this two-day practical seminar, we will familiarise ourselves with and simulate the essential functions of a wind turbine, measure and evaluate data and discuss the results. All aspects of wind energy technology will be addressed: Aerodynamic energy conversion at the rotor, conversion into electrical energy, turbine control, energy losses, performance curves and the dynamic behaviour of the turbine during operation. A comprehensive overview of the current state of the art is provided with many practical examples.

Hands-On Seminar: Wind Energy Technology Deep Dive
In this seminar, we take a close look at the design of a wind turbine. In the design workshops, methods will be presented step by step and applied immediately. At the end of the seminar, everyone will take home a self-designed rotor blade as a souvenir. The rotor blades are 3D-printed overnight so that we can start the second day by measuring the performance curve. Do the measured characteristics correspond to the calculation? What do the parameters we encountered in the design mean for the loads of the wind turbine? What does all this mean in practice?
