At mint-lab, we want to inspire people when they learn something. To do this, we combine physical experiments with the possibilities of an app:
The wind lab makes wind energy technology accessible at universities and in our wind energy seminars. wind energy seminars exciting and easy to understand.
In schools, we create exciting student labsthat awaken an interest in STEM subjects and address the curriculum in an application-oriented way.
The wind laboratory
Would you like to rent or purchase a wind laboratory for your educational institution?
Place the mini wind turbine (WTG) in the tabletop wind tunnel, which generates up to 12 m/s wind in each seminar room.
Start the wind turbine with the app and measure the conversion of wind to torque and then to electricity.
“Pitch”
pitch” the rotor blades to limit the power output and optimize the energy yield by controlling the generator torque.
Observe how the wind turbine oscillates at its natural frequency after an emergency stop maneuver – just like a real wind turbine.
